Day five. On day six (cursed Blogger)

Twelve pages last night. Twelve pages that felt like four thousand. Hard work because it was only right at the end that something exciting happened, but the hours those twelve pages took to write translate to what, probably ten minutes on screen? So hopefully not as torturous to read as they were to write - anyway, things should really start to ramp up now.

Game on.

  1. well done - I'm at 11 pages of free flowing crap - stereotypes, exposition - it's all there!

  2. Twelve pages = 2.5 hrs writing time.

Don't overthink it, just write it.
If it took you longer than that, then relax and understand that no one but you is going to see this draft you're currently writing.

    Good luck and head down.

  3. I couldn't say how long it took. I did three pages, had a cuppa. Three more pages, had a fag. Three more pages, you get the idea.

I need to hit page thirty before I go to bed tonight. I'm on nineteen right now, so I don't see a problem.

Thanks for all the support so far.

  4. Made it!

Lost track of a couple of characters along the way though. I can bring 'em back in later.

And I've gone a bit off-piste; some of my planned sequences aren't going to work now. Something else will suggest itself, no doubt.
