I'm back, baby!

My new broadband wasn’t supposed to go live until tomorrow, but that sweet little light on my router has just started to flicker.

It’s so sad, really, but I finally feel whole again.

  1. I know the feeling. If my cable modem goes out it's like an appendage has been taken away...I'm not saying which appendage.

  2. Your photo scares me a bit, the way you suddenly glare out of the screen at me when the page loads. I just thought you should know that. Makes me feel like I've been caught doing something illegal.

  3. Ahhh, no, honestly officer, it's for "research", that isn't even my credit card, there could be a million people with the same name, credit card number, and DNA fingerprint...

  4. Hi Lee, thanks for showing this techno-ignorant girlie "the way" re: feeds on Danny Stack's blog! : ) I don't have broadband, does this make any diff? (I don't have broadband cos when I did, someone out in cyberland actually downloaded one of my screenplays somehow and sent me a report on my work!!! Can you believe the audacity?!)

  5. Hi Lucy, using dial-up just means that if you subscribe to a lot of feeds, you'll want to go off and fill the cafetiere while waiting for them to update.

Regardless of the ever-present risk of attracting unsolicited criticism, I would never give up my broadband. Neverrrr!

  6. Thought as much! I'm too techno paranoid to give up dial-up I think plus no one ever phones me anyway..... : )
